Your competition is already engaging with consumers through the use of social media. Consumers are empowered in their decision making through access to endless information available through the internet. Social media as a messaging platform is not going away any time soon. Creating a dialogue with your customers and building trust through social media platforms will establish a relationship before they’re ready to make a purchase.
As with any relationship, you don’t know what you’re customers want unless you ask them. You customers will play an active role in your business and become active in the buzz that you’re trying to create around your brand. If you don’t take care of your customers, someone else will.
