Yep. Going west is a thing. And two young men plus one not-so-young man – that is, Erin Sparks, Tom Brodbeck, and Nate Torvik (and we won’t say who is who) – are heading west to attend the SMX West conference March 1-6, 2016.
SMX West has been the leading conference for SEO and SEM professionals since 2007. Not only a great networking event, it’s also a great opportunity to capture and capitalize on fresh perspectives and high-level discussions.
“Site Strategics has never participated in an event of this magnitude and clout,” says Torvik, Marketing Strategy Manager. “Not only is this going to be a phenomenal personal opportunity to learn from some of the great minds in the industry, but it really shows where Site Strategics is going.”
Sparks, who started Site Strategics 11 years ago as a one-person company, has seen it lately swell to 12, with immediate plans for two more. “We have such a great pool of talent, and I want to equip my staff so they have the tools they need to maximize what they know. It’s the best way to serve our clients.”
Brodbeck, the company’s Senior SEO Consultant, sees value in this latest search for great SEO wisdom. “I’m always ready to learn more about the industry,” says Brodbeck. “It’s constantly changing and it’s important to keep current.”
They will also get to attend the “new” Google Dance, an annual party held at the nearby Googleplex – or, as Edge of the Web Radio podcast co-host Douglas Karr affectionately calls it, the “Nerd Prom.”
Be that as it may, the wagon train of our gleeful nerds has departed – and we’ll keep you posted on all their adventures at SMX West.
