OVERVIEW: The Digital Experience Manager is a full-time position, working with our online marketing team. Digital Experience Managers are the owners of digital strategy and execution for Site Strategics clients. Their key focus is to convert anonymous users into known prospects that engage and transact through our client’s online channels. Our digital channels include websites, SEO, PPC, email, social, video, and content marketing. Each Digital Experience Manager has KPI targets for lead generation and revenue they are accountable for delivering. As the owners of SEO strategy, PPC and website content journeys, they must effectively partner with other parts of the business to execute commercialization campaigns and other growth activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with peers to develop new website, PPC, and email content & messaging to generate demand and e-commerce revenue.
  • Be accountable for lead and revenue generation targets for digital channels.
  • Collaborate with regional partners to expand digital capabilities and optimize channels internationally and across languages.
  • Manage digital campaign assets, landing page development and content, and tracking.
  • Optimize and expand paid search strategy across product lines through Google Ads and more.
  • Utilize industry standard tools to implement SEO suggestions to improve website performance in organic search.
  • Leverage Google Analytics & heatmapping tools to monitor channel performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion digital best practices and KPIs across the organization.
  • Build and optimize webpages using WordPress CMS.
  • Support website personalization initiatives
  • Manage effective keyword strategy across organic and paid channels
  • Repurpose and distribute marketing content through digital channels.
  • Continuously run A/B and multivariate tests of digital materials.
  • Leverage buying segments and customer personas in campaign strategy.
  • Manage the localization and application of digital content for use in international markets.
  • Utilize CMS and Marketing Automation Platforms to create landing pages and related assets.
  • Manage auto-responders and follow-up communication for digital touchpoints.
  • Write ad copy, landing pages, value propositions, subject lines.
  • Repurpose and develop content when needed to fill campaign gaps and testing.
  • Oversee lead management and review for digital campaigns in resepctive CRM’s.
  • Build business cases and produce documentation for new features and tools.

Additionally, the Digital Experience Manager assists in developing and executing the strategies for Site Strategics’ and EDGE Media Studio’s own properties.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing agency experience in multiple channels including search, email, social, and content marketing.
  • 3+ years of recent pay per click (PPC) management and search optimization (SEO) experience.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy for B2B lead generation
  • ROI-driven and dissatisfied with maintaining the status quo.
  • Strong desire to innovate and test new opportunities and strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console and HTML.
  • Experience with CMS with WYSIWYG functionality.
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Ads professional certifications strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRO and UX principles and methodologies
  • The ability to communicate well with other teams
  • Strong analytical thought process and ability to interpret findings
  • Strong business acumen and excellent writing/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
  • Inbound and outbound marketing experience is preferred
  • Effective in crafting and optimizing marketing messages.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work under ambiguity and operate with minimal oversight.
  • Comfort with managing large-scale B2B PPC campaigns with aggressive performance targets.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with personas and buying journeys.
  • Preferred experience in biotechnology, pharma/biopharma, life sciences research, or related industry.
  • Google Adwords Certified across multiple networks
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Bing Certified
  • Proven track record of paid social campaigns and experience delivering ROI for clients
  • Experience with Google Display Network, including remarketing and contextual advertising

  • Experience with natural search planning and implementation
  • Experience using social media advertising platforms
  • Experience implementing minor coding changes on WordPress websites
  • Sound SEO knowledge
  • Google Analytics and advanced Adwords Editor knowledge
  • Deep experience using keyword research tools
  • Advanced Excel and experience using agency-level PPC campaign management platforms
  • Experience setting up and using Google Tag Manager
  • Must stay current and maintain industry knowledge, trends etc. in digital space

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (B.S. /B.A.) from a four-year college or university in the areas of marketing, advertising, communications, English, business administration, project management, computer science, information technology, or a related-field; Minimum of three years managing a high volume of PPC campaigns or subsequent budgets; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and/or REGISTRATIONS: A valid Indiana driver’s license is required for this position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Incumbent must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. In addition, the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, prospects and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Incumbent must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
