DIGITAL TECH FIRM INKS A DEAL TO INVEST WELL OVER HALF A MILLION DOLLARS TO LEASE NEW SPACE IN DOWNTOWN INDIANAPOLIS

INDIANAPOLIS (July 13, 2016) – Site Strategics, a digital marketing services company, has inked a deal to invest well over a half million dollars to lease a newly-renovated 5,400-square-foot space at 1317 N. Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis. The digital tech firm is migrating its headquarters from its 1,900-square-foot incubation spot on the south side to accommodate current and anticipated growth in staff and technology.

“This is an exciting time. We’ve honed a good engine here, and we know what works,” said Erin Sparks, owner of Site Strategics. “I’m delighted that we can grow this business here in Indiana where cooperation between the business sector, our local government, and the nonprofit community is so healthy.”

Plans for construction should be completed by the end of this month. The new facility will provide an edgy, optimized space for team collaboration and creativity, as well as facilities to comfortably host clients and business partners.

Among the new space features is a state-of-the-art studio for the company’s Edge of the Web podcast, a four-year-old program discussing digital marketing tactics and interviews with national marketing leaders. Recently, #edgetalk received national attention by being listed as a top SEO podcast that features internationally known experts. Additionally, the studio will serve as a lab for interns to gain “hands-on” experience, as well as students who are interested in learning about audio engineering.

“Site Strategics growth today proves that Indiana has created an ideal business climate for tech companies to thrive,” said Jim Schellinger, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “Indiana’s low taxes and low regulations provide tech companies with a compelling competitive when compared to other popular tech hubs around the country. As a homegrown success story, we’re excited to see Site Strategics continue to grow and thrive in Indiana, creating more quality jobs for Hoosiers.”

Site Strategics currently employs 10 full-time associates and serves more than 35 clients across the country, adding 10 within the last six months, and is generating 45% growth quarter over quarter.

As part of its projected growth, the company plans to create up to 25 new jobs by 2020, with web and business development positions expected to pay wages nearly 40 percent higher than the state average wage. Interested applicants may apply online at www.sitestrategics.com/jobs/.

“I really enjoyed working with Erin,” said Jenny Massey, president and COO at FairWinds Advisors, LLC. “We were able to provide him with the necessary guidance during the incentive negotiations with the state that are really going to take Site Strategics to the next level.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) offered Site Strategics up to $230,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The City of Indianapolis along with the State support Site Strategics expansion plans.
