An Overview of the Accessibility 4.0 Audit.

What exactly is an accessibility audit? The Accessibility 4.0 Audit is a detailed testing process of your website to evaluate its degree of accessibility. We follow the evaluation guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium to ensure accuracy and thoroughness. Through our audit, we measure your website’s level of accessibility in a systematic way against the internationally accepted standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, commonly known as WCAG 2.0.

When should you request a web accessibility audit? Quite frankly, an audit is a good idea at any time. We can perform our evaluation at any point during your project, including early planning, design, development or testing. And, we will work with your schedule to avoid disruptions and provide real-time, effective solutions. Most importantly, don’t wait to receive an official complaint or a letter from the Office of Civil Rights. Be sure to do the right thing now, and you will open your site to new users and avoid any legal entanglements in the future.

The Accessibility 4.0 Audit results in a detailed report that includes:

  • A list of the WCAG 2.0 checkpoints against which your site has been evaluated
  • A score of how well your site conforms to each of checkpoint
  • A detailed list of issues that need to be addressed
  • Recommendations of actions to remediated all issues
